Session 79 - Interrogation and a Change of Circumstance

Zan and Brenlazar are taken to the City Guard Barracks, along with Lawrence Scott and the Dark Elf Assassin. They are locked up awaiting interrogation.

Meanwhile the rest of the party return to their base. Kravok begins to suffer more with strange visions and impulses to write.

After a bief interrogation by the City Guard, Lord Draconus himself comes to question Zan and Brenlazar. He is joined by Lacrimosia, and the pair see that both are released, and a lunch at Lacrimosia's is arranged or the next day.

Brenlazar also makes a deal to make a guard a hat....

On their return to base, more plans are made, and it is thought that Kravok could disguise himself as Lawrence Scott for the bard's peformance.

The next day, on the 11th of Decem, lunch is had at Lacrimosia's. Lord Draconus is also present, and the Noble of the Iron Ring makes an offer to the group. If they work for him officially in investigating the Cult in the City, he will give them official documents to give them freedom to go about the city again. The group agree.

Plans are made, and Lord Draconus wishes the group to use Lawrence Scott's peformance to draw out the Cultists. It is also agreed a lot of research is to be done. The educated of the group head to the nearest Arcane Enclave library. Here, they learn a few important details:-

• Blood rituals involving Ruby Vials are used for summoning Demons
• Beings referred to as Demon Lords are said to exist with names such as Dirzomali, Virulos and Charon
• The summoning of smaller Demonic entities can weaken the vale between realms, and result in one of the Demon Lords being summoned
