Laynher River

Supposedly named after a Princess of an ancient culture, the Laynher River can be found in the south of The Kingdom of Arden. The river's source can be tracked to the Minydenn Mountains, and it starts in the Province of Telmar before it snakes southwards in to the Dalarn Lowlands.

The City of Southdale is located on the River, and it has been used to transport goods from the mountains to aid in the Cities growth. Following on, the River provides fresh water for Stephal Forest and The Saltmarshes, before ending with its mouth at The Silver Coast.

The River itself is largely considered to mark the border between Telmar and the Dalarn Lowlands, and as such, there are few means of crossing it. Southdale is considered the only safe way across the river.
