Hell

Once simply a dreary, grey place for mortals to go after death, hell is now the prison holding both the gods and those mortals who lived in the way of the gods.
After a mortal dies, they meet the saints in charge of deciding where they will now live. Once these saints have reviewed the mortal's life, if the mortal is found unworthy of heaven, they are taken to hell and locked in there with the gods.
While the saints did not thing to alter hell after they locked the gods and their followers in it (and freed those mortals worthy of heaven), considering how the gods treated the inhabitants of the world they created (see the Way of the Saints for what happened), it is generally held that those in hell suffer greatly at the gods' hands.
