This was the original religion, the one before the saints came. It is officially considered gone, as part of the saints' victory over the gods, but it is possible there are those that still follow it. Certainly the occult is interesting to some...

Disbandment

The gods and all records of them and their followers were destroyed by the saints. This is commemorated every year on Saints Day.

Granted Divine Powers

It is said that the gods sometimes changed their most faithful servants into inhuman beings with unnatural powers. The most commonly named of these beings in apocrypha are werewolves, but some also believe that demons and vampires are among these, as are saintly-looking beings that are not saints at all. Those servants who were changed expected to use these powers to rule over others in the manner of the gods.
