The Royal Tournament of The Siniael-Thín

The Royal Tournament of The Siniael-Thín, aka The Royal Tournament, only occurs in Arandõr, the capital of Oslias, during the celebration of The Siniael-Thín and is a grand tournament that lasts as short as three days and as long as the whole celebration. The Royal Tournament consists of many bouts to test ones might, competitions to test ones skill, large rewards for the grand winners and Tamnaeth's Coliseum, a large coliseum built by the order of King Tamnaeth Arasatra, to watch it all from. Leading up to The Royal Tournament, smaller tournaments held during other holidays and parties help decided which nobles shall participate in the competitions that will occur in Tamnaeth's Coliseum. Also leading up to The Royal Tournament of The Siniael-Thín, smaller none noble tournaments are held to provide The Royal Tournament with a lowborn underdog the common-folk can cheer for. These chosen hero's of the people are often gifted equipment by Lords and Ladies during the Tournament to put a better show on for the viewers. Grand melees, archery competitions, wrestling matches, noble jousts and other bouts the King of Oslias wishes to display occur during the tournament.
