Flames roar within the Monster’s Milk, devouring everything in their path. Amid the chaos, Loghain, Paz, and Gloinn spring into action, guiding the frantic patrons and workers toward safety. Despite their efforts, two souls are tragically lost in the frantic evacuation.Fast Friends
Outside, Zero conjures a shimmering dimensional door leading to the Aramore port district with hope of gathering reinforcements. She swiftly enlists the aid of three seasoned captains and their hardened crews. Meanwhile, Cul, with a commanding gesture, summons a towering wave of seawater, the deluge snaking through the streets as it follows him back to the blazing tavern.Cascade
Inside, with Ecrena and two of her Revenants by their side, Paz and Loghain discover a barrel brimming with water. Together, they form a united front before the others arrive. Zero, Cul, and the seafarers charge into the inferno, each contributing to the relentless battle against the flames. Slowly but surely, they finally drive the fire back, extinguishing it.Among the Wreckage
As the smoke clears, Paz approaches Ecrena, who stands amid the partial destruction of Aramore's only solace from the Praetoria, a storm of emotions brewing within her. The damage the fire caused is immense. Sensing her despair, Paz offers his support and assistance, and she, in her grief, seems inclined to accept. Loghain, ever the spiritual anchor, murmurs a solemn prayer for those lost. Cul, lost in thought, contemplates the far-reaching consequences of their choices, guided by whispers of soothing, yet strangely unfamiliar, thoughts. Zero meets with the travelers from Whitecliff, including Oliver Lee. He extends an invitation to his family estate should they venture to the town.Blazing Trails
Ecrena, regaining her composure, asks Paz to wait downstairs while she attends to urgent matters. Nyssa, one of her most trusted, whispers something to the Matriarch, too quietly for Paz to overhear. Intrigued and wary, he descends the stairs as instructed, determined to uncover whatever secrets unfolding above. The Revenant's leader then instructs Nyssa and Neloria to assess the damage and tend to the injured. She then crosses the room to where Loghain stands at the bar, retrieving the Arcane Reader left behind by the Aegis. With a nod, she invites Loghain and the Departed to continue their conversation “downstairs.” As they shake hands, a sudden vision floods Loghain’s mind: through someone else’s eyes, he sees Ecrena striking a deal with something unholy…
