Late Queen Matilda
Queen Matilda is the late Queen of Autara and the mother of the current queen, Vivian. She also has a younger sister Lavinia.
She had a long and stable reign and has since died, passing the throne to her daughter Vivian.
Appearance
Queen Matilda had pale silver hair, which she often kept tied back in a simple braid.
Matilda also had a penchant for fancy clothing, often employing master seamstresses to make her fine dresses with elaborate and expensive decorations. Much of her wardrobe have become heirlooms in the Royal family since her death.
Personal History
Matilda was the eldest daughter of the Queen of Autara, making her a princess and heir to the throne. Matilda became Queen after her mother died, and her reign is considered long and stable. She has a younger sister, Lavinia, who is still an active member of the royal family.
She married and had a daughter, Vivian, during her reign. Vivian was Matilda’s only child and heir, and thus when Matilda died, Vivian became the new queen. All living members of the current royal family are descendants of Queen Matilda.
