An adventurer is discovered hanged and ripped apart with a silver sword in his chest on the road between Anuch and Copac urât. What else but a werewolf could have done it.

Vladimir gave up waiting for Daviid to wake up and set off alone towards the next town but came across an old acquaintance, Slavak. They were headed the same way on similar errands and started hiking through the forest together. Some good ways into the woods, Slavak was spooked by an unnatural sound and they suspected bandits.   Hiding in the underbrush, they eventually found travelers for safety and went back. What they found was a large pool of blood, with the lower half of a man, and a swarm of flies. Above it the rest of the man, an adventurer, ripped in half, hanged from a tree with his own sword driven through his chest. Guts dangling from where his hips should have been. Slavak vomited but afterward seemed fine. Vladimir, on the other hand, was traumatized by the gore.   Bringing the man down, it was clear he was an adventurer, and the sword was spotless silver, possibly enchanted. Slavak, when asked if he would hold onto the sword, proclaimed himself an adventurer much to everyone's surprise, himself included. A health potion was discovered, and the two of them, with the merchants, returned to Anuch to warn of a possible werewolf on the hunt. Now the woodsman Mihai's attack suddenly turns from a lone tragedy to a threat for the whole town of Slumberhaven.
