Mostly seen as a benefactor but also a fickle mistress that brings the bounty of the sea and water to farms. Sailors will without fail sing a hymn to the goddess as they hoist the sail to ensure a good voyage. Most seafaring vessels will have a female captain or navigator to appease the goddess, and she will be addressed as the mistress. Farmers will enact shrines next to rivers and streams to appease her and ensure that the river behaves. She is depicted as beautiful undine and anyone who defiles her waters will be the target of her anger.
As she has blessed all streams and rivers, vampires in particular burn if they enter running water.
