Foreign Relations
UST is part of the IA and holds very close ties with its former coloniser, West Ilandia.
It's also part of the Tasmanian Comittee, an alliance with most Tasmanian states (except S. Pallisade, N. Pallisade, Copilnaca and Moltovea).
Agriculture & Industry
Agriculture
Like many other colonies, Tasmania has a largely agricultural economy, which the land, with its rich and fertile soils, lends itself to perfectly. The Qatsaran Valley, the Hudupetti Plain and the Nota Basin are particularly well suited.
Each is perfect for agriculture, and especially for grain. This earned Tasmania the title, "Granary of West Ilandia", that Tasmanians still boast today.
But agriculture accounts for only 35% of the economy, Tasmania, especially the coastal areas, are highly industrialised.
Industry
During the Great War, West Ilandia was forced to relocate much of its overseas industry previously located in the Asturgazian colonies to a more secure area such as Tasmania.
This was the birth of Tasmanian (heavy) industry, and hence Tasmanian prosperity.
34% of Tasmania's population works in industry, which is mainly located along the coast.
This 34% generates 47% of all wealth. Tasmania is primarily home to heavy industry, but lighter and more sophisticated industry is also on the rise, mainly due to Tasmania's rising living standards and higher wages.
Mining
Trade in raw resources such as iron, aluminium, gold and oil accounts for another 11% of the economy.
Most mines are located in the rural south of the country, while most oil is found in the Ceronailand and Noiland Provinces.
Tasmania controls 32% of the entire aluminium market.
Others
The other 17% of the economy is generated by other economic activities, such as tourism, services and forestry.
Education
Education in Tasmania is pretty shit, only in the New Aeransis and New Marvia Provinces education is decent, everywhere else it's just plain bad.
