The Ziggurat pierced through the land of the death leading to the increasing movement of devils in the world.

The Lords of the Ziggurat pierced through the worlds skin with the assistance of the Cult of the Midnight Pale. This lead to a bloody war driving the Egalitairian Kingdom into greater uses of Necromancy and a dependency to it. Further to this a great deal of other countries came together to drive the Devil's off. The Devil's came close to conquering the Kingdom which would have allowed them to progress into taking the entire world.
