Purpose / Function

This Citadel is the seat of the Frozen Horde. It acts as home and hold. The Frost Giants see it as a place that must be protected. The Citadel is supposedly a shield against something according to The Broken Ship. Ymgari calls it often the Grave of Stars believing that a dead sun is sealed within. Legends span everywhere from the grave of a God, a magical distortion, a direct portal to the abyss or Ziggurat and even to the holding place of great ancestral weapon. None know for certain and though many have tried to slip below they have been rebuffed or destroyed in the attempt.

Alterations

The original citadel was made of Ice primarily but stone now governs its upper portions. The biggest and most noticeable change is that to the surrounds, a 4 tiered wall system with death traps for invaders stand before the Ice walls.

Architecture

The structure is a mixture between the brutalist ice works of the Frost Giant, sheer and imposing without pity. The fort being the old design of the Storm Reagents before their disappearance from the world. The first two walls are of the craft of Stone giants, very precise and shielded with shamanistic totems as well as the superior stonework. Finally there are the two outer walls made in the style of humans and goliaths and act as a simplistic buffer zone rather than the true strongpoint.

Catapults of immense size, ballista on every wall, abjurative symbols and numerous untold traps and defenders
