History & Usage

History

It is seen that the greatest of artificers make wonders out of folded stars. One could see the legends but the star-fold is prone to bring bad luck to those that speak of it.

Discovery

First seen in the mines of the deepest mountain. The Dwarves were the first to work it and guard the creations jealously.

Cultural Significance and Usage

It is said if one were to be banished from the Khanate the symbols of the forsaken are engraved into the skin.

Refinement

After burning a forge white one may start to work the metal into a form more pleasing to the wielder.

The heat used to shape the metal can kill easily.

Trade & Market

An exotic dealer or a very affluent smith may hold perhaps a few grams of the stuff.

Storage

Due to the nature of the metal no specific storage needs are required.

Law & Regulation

In Dangelous before the fall the metal wasn't trusted and was forbidden. In the Empire, Vilgefortz and Bertholf the trade is highly regulated needing approval from a magistrate, bishop or knight-captain respectively.
