The shocks seemed to be induced by trauma though many misdiagnose it as hallucinations or the beginning of a complete mental breakdown.

Symptoms

Seeing images, hearing whispers in ones ears, temporary paralysis, Migraines, fits.

Treatment

There is no treatment.

Prognosis

Trauma usually involving violent actions in youth to seem to aggrevate it the most as does a great deal of abuse spread over an extended period of time.

Sequela

The disease does not directly evolve into worse but usually softens the mind to more invasive elements.

Affected Groups

Mostly occurs in children undergoing a great deal of stress at a very young age.

Cultural Reception

Those that are seen with this affliction are mostly treated as cowards unable to complete their duties.
