They all seek to independently from the major nations and retain personal freedoms. This often does not occur as the Khanate demands tribute.

Etiquette diverges quite significantly depending on region as loyalties is equally as varied.

Usually hides or leather to secure them against the cold of the Steppe and its barren nature.

The dead are left to the Steppe to return to nature.

Beauty Ideals

They see the beauty in the hard fought, the survivors and have great love for the slender, wiry form of a rider.

Gender Ideals

Ever since the the destruction of the Old Steppe's way of life their have been no proscribed roles as each must find their own way to survive in the world.

Courtship Ideals

There used to be traditions and rituals to follow but they have fallen by the wayside in recent years. There is no binding way they go about things and many have begun to adopt others ways of life.

Relationship Ideals

They believed that a strong man should have a primary wife and some secondary wives but as the world changed they now usually marry only the one partner.
