Structure
There is a clan leader who is descended from one of the major families that make up the guild. From there the clan splinters and changes as needed. These lieutenants are brought in not only from the main lines but also from families that are subsumed as suzerain families.

Foreign Relations
The Clans of Ironwrought still stand against the Steppe and their animosity stand. They maintain control of the state of Shellish the pass that determines trade between the East and West of Oste. The Egalitairian Kingdom and Ironwrought stand in a stalemate where each are becoming more and more hostile over the dominion of Shellish. For major trading partners, The Empire is a great friend to the Dwarves and Yn'Vay maintains good relations. The Jewel Clan specifically trade favourably with The Binding and The Goldmenders and Silkweavers of Tylia.
Agriculture & Industry
Goods flow from the mountain, food enters and industry continues.
Trade & Transport
Trade is dealt with by liasons and represented merchants who broker goods to foreign nations. Few Dwarves actually leave the mountains, insted give their goods to intermediatry merchants who move the goods where required.
Education
All under the Jewel Clans purview are given a rudimentary education in mathematic, literacy and history. From this basis those who make significant progress may be plucked out and placed in a variety of additional classes whether that be training in warfare, sciences or suberterfuge.
