Nerida Callahan

Nerida was a mischievous and fun-loving woman, who thumbed her nose at social norms and conventions. She never took a husband; in fact, she was renowned for taking women as lovers, and it was not until her early forties that she found the true love of her life, a mortal woman called Amelia Hapgood. Amelia knew that Nerida was a witch, and the two lived together in Nerida's headmistress quarters at Westbrook Academy until Nerida's death in the year 1900.

Nerida Callaha's primary power was invisibility. She could render herself invisible for any amount of time, although being a conscious power, if she lost consciousness for whatever reason, she would again become visible.
Nerida's secondary power was projective invisibility, which she called 'cloaking.' Nerida was able to make any person or object completely invisible, no matter how large or small.
