This world was once something more, something greater, before the The Myst. Little is known about the world before then. The people have forgotten it. The Myst has drunk their memories. Whatever the world was before though, its ruins litter the landscape, waiting for curious adventurers to discover the mysteries of the past.

• What's left? The Myst covers much of the world, but there are pockets of small civilizations that continue on. Small and diverse communities of people have banded together to try to make a life out of this strange new world. For about a thousand years now, the people of The Wunderlunds have made some progress. There are several settlements within this pocket of The Myst.

• Who are the people of The Wunderlunds? They are a diverse people: made up of humans, elves, dwarves, and hobbits. Any other ancestries you will find here have wandered through the myst, lost and forgotten of where they came from.

• What culture is left to these people of The Wunderlunds? The many varied ancestries in the folk here have led to a diverse set of traditions. They're not certain whether these traditions are taken from the past, or born newly in the present, but they're important to them anyway. The most important thing to them is that they keep the traditions alive for fear of forgetting even more.

• What of the gods and spirits? While there is little memory left of the gods, there is still magic in this world. The spirits live all throughout nature and, some say, in everything there is. Some respect them. Some worship them. Others pay them little heed. Regardless, they form relationships with many things and peoples throughout the world.
