Corvinian
Corvinian is a young boy with unexplained powers that seem to activate on their own. His parents have come to Jorvanultumn and Meleng for protection, as Darkers have been hunting the boy. It is in this situation that they encounter Felitïa, Zandrue, and Rudiger.
Corvinian is 8 years old at the time of his first appearance in The Child of the Volgs and 9 by the end. He is 9 for most of Her Right Mind and 10 by the end. I do not have artwork of him at this time.

Body Features
Corvinian is fairly thin with a freckled face.
Special abilities
Corvinian's powers defy explanation. He does not have magical talent (as determined by Jorvan), so cannot be intuitively using magic in his defence (something that would be virtually impossible even if he had magical talent, and without, it is completely impossible).
The powers activate spontaneously whenever Corvinian is in danger. They manifest as a blue energy that surrounds his body and then extends from him in whatever direction(s) necessary.
In addition, Corvinian has no mental presence that Felitïa can detect telepathically, and any attempt to find him telepathically activates his defensive powers.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Corvinian was born on New Year's Day 2323. His birth mother was unable to keep him so she gave him up to a childless couple is Mesone. Until recently, he led a mostly unremarkable life. However, a few months ago, Darkers broke in his family's home and attempted to take him. As soon as they laid hands on him, however, a strange blue glow surrounded him and physically threw his attackers away from him. The Darkers fled, but soon, more came for him. They encountered the same difficulty. Any aggressive move against him caused the blue glow to form and protect him. While his parents rejoiced in this strange protection, they also worried that it would not be able to protect him forever, that the Darkers would find a way to get passed it.
Word soon spread that there was an Isyar in town, and they decided they would approach the Isyar in hopes that they could gain magical protection for themselves and their son.
