The History of The Wild Cards so far
The Fallen Cards is how some scholars call the old empire that ruled significant parts of the lands. Some stories say barbarians ended their reign, others claim infighting, while Tarot abuse gone too far and monsters tearing it apart is the theory most common folktales support. They tell of centuries of fearing the dark, with monsters crawling through the woods, until Tarot hunters managed to hunt down all of them.
Current Species & Cultures
Various countries, some at war, some at truce, some peaceful, are spread around. So far no Tarot abuse has taken place in battle, yet every war there is the fear that this time, things will go too far.
Needs & Relations
The nobility all desire power and fame. This is why they eagerly train their children in Tarot, for those with the talent.
The middleclass desire respect and stability. They want armed conflicts to decrease and the countries to remain stable.
The marked desire to live, but society will not forgive their crimes.
The wild cards desire society to change.
