Lord Ashfield of Carmine
His Royal Highness Ashfield of Carmine (a.k.a. The Dull Gem)
Born the third son of his family, and a man without Tarot abilities. He had a political marriage to Queen Blanche at age 35. Their only child is Lord Clarke. Rumors say that he only slept in the Queen's bed once. He only shows by her side once a year, when greeting her subjects at the Winter Festival.
Lord Ashfield stays far from politics, spending all his time inside his own palace wing. His hobbies are said to include long walks and fencing. He cares for his son, but his own lack of ambition makes it hard for him to support Clarke. To his fencing partners, he sometimes says the time he spent fencing with his son, was the best of his life.
