Lord Anton Carvel
Lord Carvel is a centuries old vampire from Lakta who has taken it upon himself to discover the true reason the second age ended. Based in Frans he is an odd character. He is as likely to be on an adventure as to hire adventurers, but his obsession with uncovering the truth often leaves him shorthanded. This means that he turns large portions of his vast fortune to hiring adventurers to go out and search ancient ruins for him.
In the pursuit of this he has worked with several artificers to create Wayfinders, magical compasses that can be empowered by the rare and powerful Aeon Stones, remnants from the previous age that he has uncovered in ancient ruins throughout the land.
