Stega

Stega is an Adyrian city-state located in northern Adyr. It is the largest city in the Adyrian Republics and serves as its de-facto capital. It dwarves even Nylanor in Faryon in size, and is mostly known for its significant naval prowess and subsequently as a powerful stakeholder in the Adyrian Trading Company.

Demographics

While the population of Stega is primarily human, there is a significant number of Elves residing within the city and its surroundings, as well as numerous dwarves, halflings, as well as several gnomes and even Dragonborn from surrounding lands.
There are surprisingly little people living in complete poverty within the city's limits, with most jobs paying relatively well - enough to live off, at least - thanks to the fierce competition between the many, many merchants and other assorted 'upper class' individuals.

Guilds and Factions

The Adyrian Trading Company has a significant presence within Stega's docks, with many of the ships docking there being property of either the company directly, or merchants and families working for them. Sprawling offices and warehouses lay nearby.
Stega's naval academy is one of the most renowned institutions of its kind throughout the Republics and Faryon both, known for producing some of the most well-known maritime heroes (or villains, depending on who is asking) in the Western Reaches, and beyond.
