Nemani, the third planet in its star system, is the vibrant homeworld of the Nemanoi people and the birthplace of Adric. The planet’s lush oceans and verdant forests make it a breathtaking jewel among the stars. The Canatol Province Forest, in particular, is a serene haven, famous for its towering trees and tranquil beauty, often serving as a prime vacation destination for locals and off-world visitors alike.

Orbiting near the mysterious Watcher’s Eye Gate—a stunning nebula that sits between the planet and its star—Nemani is steeped in cosmic wonder. The Gate’s influence creates a unique temporal and dimensional anomaly, which the story refers to as "Time Slots." This phenomenon separates the Nemanoi from their sibling race, the Jimenna, who unknowingly share the same planet but exist in an entirely different temporal slot.

Neither race is aware of the other’s existence. For the Nemanoi and Jimenna, the occasional appearance of artifacts, buildings, or other inexplicable items is simply part of life—what they consider gifts or signs from their gods. These occurrences are so integral to their worldview that they don't question them or realize that other planets lack such phenomena. Both races enshrine these "divine" artifacts and regard the mysterious structures of the other civilization as sacred wonders, often describing them as "built without hands."

This unexamined coexistence has made Nemani a planet of unseen connections, where reverence for the unexplained bridges two civilizations separated by time. For outsiders, it is a place of wonder and paradox, while for its inhabitants, it is simply the way things are.
