Mental characteristics

Personal history

Lavena was born to her father Bala Ta Ir by her father Aldren. Her birth was hidden from Aldren and she was raised for a short period of time under the care of Bala Ta Ir and the forces of Tiamat. Meanwhile, her father Aldren had another child with his wife Myrsa, and shortly after, Bala Ta Ir and Tiamat's forces kidnapped Myrsa and Aldren's newborn to use as leverage against them. Palantia, The Dawn Blade was sent to rescue the stolen child, but when she arrived, not knowing there were two babies, she retrieved the wrong one and she brought Lavena to an isolated cave in Senna, bordering the Frigid Blue,  to be raised in safety by her husband Saragos.   This cave is where she would grow up, with Saragos and the wildlife that made the forests within his domain their home. While Palantia and her alleged parents, Aldren and Myrsa were away fighting the war against Tiamat in the nine hells, Saragos quickly became a father figure to her, and she became very close with the raccoons in the forest who saw her as one of their kits. This became Lavenas family growing up, and besides them, she had no contact with the outside world.   But, after 20 years of living peacefully in the forests of Senna, her solitary life was swiftly turned on its head when Bala Ta Ir and his army discovered Saraogs's hideout and launched an attack on the cave. Lavena, now a young adult, had no memory of the events of her young childhood, and Bala Ta Ir, like everyone else, believed she was Myrsa's child. So when he attacked, he did not spare her. Saragos did everything he could to protect her, but during the battle, she was knocked down and obtained a head injury that would affect her memory for the rest of her life. In the battle, Saragos would be killed, and his dying prayer to Bahamut was to send his daughter somewhere safe. He granted this wish and lavena was warped to the forests outside of southaven, unconcious and with nothing but a talon of her fathers, forged into a dagger (a gift from Bahamut). As she awoke and her foggy memories slowly came back to her, she walked into town, seeing people and society for the first time, and she vowed to get revenge on the man who killed her dad.

MAGIC ITEMS
Armor of Fire Resistance, Scale Mail (A) Armor (scale mail), rare (requires attunement) Flavored as a racial feature (Tiefling fire resistance)   Figurine of Wondrous Power (Onyx Dog)   A figurine of wondrous power is a statuette of a beast small enough to fit in a pocket. If you use an action to speak the command word and throw the figurine to a point on the ground within 60 feet of you, the figurine becomes a living creature. If the space where the creature would appear is occupied by other creatures or objects, or if there isn't enough space for the creature, the figurine doesn't become a creature. The creature is friendly to you and your companions. It understands your languages and obeys your spoken commands. If you issue no commands, the creature defends itself but takes no other actions.   The creature exists for a duration specific to each figurine. At the end of the duration, the creature reverts to its figurine form. It reverts to a figurine early if it drops to 0 hit points or if you use an action to speak the command word again while touching it. When the creature becomes a figurine again, its property can't be used again until a certain amount of time has passed, as specified in the figurine's description.   Onyx Dog. This onyx statuette of a dog can become a mastiff for up to 6 hours. The mastiff has an Intelligence of 8 and can speak Common. It also has darkvision out to a range of 60 feet and can see invisible creatures and objects within that range. Once it has been used, it can't be used again until 7 days have passed.   Guild's Token (Silver Rank) Wonderous Item, rare You gain a +2 bonus to one stat (or +1 to two stats) and you have advantage on two death saving throws per long rest.   Kardhal Scale Glove (A) Wonderous item, rare (requires attunement) A slick leather glove reinforced with shiny plates of brown Kardhal Scales and a few gemstones. The draconic heritage of a Kardhal runs through the fabric like shocks of lightning that takes some getting used to, but it fits regardless.
  • At Will: Lighting Lure
Casting Time: 1 action Range: Self (15-foot radius) Components: V Duration: Instantaneous   You create a lash of lightning energy that strikes at one creature of your choice that you can see within 15 feet of you. The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pulled up to 10 feet in a straight line toward you and then take 1d8 lightning damage if it is within 5 feet of you.   At Higher Levels. This spell's damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8).
  • Once Per Short Rest: Shadow Blade (Lighting Damage)
Casting Time: 1 bonus action Range: Self Components: V, S Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute   You weave together threads of shadow to create a sword of solidified gloom in your hand. This magic sword lasts until the spell ends. It counts as a simple melee weapon with which you are proficient. It deals 2d8 psychic damage on a hit and has the finesse, light, and thrown properties (range 20/60). In addition, when you use the sword to attack a target that is in dim light or darkness, you make the attack roll with advantage.   If you drop the weapon or throw it, it dissipates at the end of the turn. Thereafter, while the spell persists, you can use a bonus action to cause the sword to reappear in your hand.
  • Once Per Long Rest: Lighting Bolt lvl4.
Casting Time: 1 action Range: Self (100-foot line) Components: V S M (A bit of fur and a rod of amber, crystal, or glass) Duration: Instantaneous Classes: Sorcerer, Wizard A stroke of lightning forming a line 100 feet long and 5 feet wide blasts out from you in a direction you choose. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 9d6 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The lightning ignites flammable objects in the area that aren’t being worn or carried.   Pelt of the Winter Heart (A) Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement) While attuned to this pelt, you have normal walking speed in difficult terrain caused by snow, you suffer no ill effects from cold climates, and your beast form has resistance to cold damage and gains advantage on stealth checks in the snow.   Ring of Animal Influence Ring, rare This ring has 3 charges, and it regains 1d3 expended charges daily at dawn. While wearing the ring, you can use an action to expend 1 of its charges to cast one of the following spells:
  • Animal friendship (save DC 13)
  • Fear (save DC 13), targeting only beasts that have an Intelligence of 3 or lower
  • Speak with animals
The Aegis of Puns Armor (shield), rare A talked about thing among drunken tavern goers having a jab at new adventurers they don't know that it is real. The shield although it is of legend in it's defense stats it is also said to be "annoying" or "hilarious" depending on who wields it. No one knows who created it but everyone knows that the shield doesn't hold an owner for too long before it is cast aside because the owner is badgered by puns. Or so the legend goes.
  • When the player takes an action with the shield out, think of a pun correlating to what is going on or just act like the shield is enamored with the enemy and have it try to talk to it. It is a +2 shield and has a once daily action called "Pun of the Day" which the shield so graciously explains that it will recount a glorious pun from it's memory for you free of charge of course! Have the player roll d100 and look at the below list for the "Pun of the Day." The shield will then badger them asking if they get it until they get a response. (Puns that don't make sense because of technology or non existing locations in fantastical places make the shield that much better.)
