Caspian Mining Corporation

The Caspian Mining Corporation was one of the primary organizations leading the desperate charge into claiming outposts on the The Rim with heavy Element 129: Utopia deposits. Their specialized Ship Scanner modules, U-Scans, that detected Element 129: Utopia deposits on planets are still used today. This technological advantage drove them to find the rich deposits in the System: Sihnon and they rivaled the FreeST Mining Corp even despite their lack of the Star Forge.
This peak of success eventually lead to their destruction. The Krasian Meritocracy’s expansion into the The Rim led then directly into the heart of CMC’s operations. CMC lead a defense against the Krasian offensive with the aid of mercenaries and even some showing by rival corporations, though they were eventually destroyed.

Disbandment

The surviving board of the CMC attempted to rebuild in the safety of Terran Space, but the loss of all of their planets and almost all of their fleet made the dissolution inevitable. Their ships and assets were sold and they officially disbanded 3 years after the military offensive by the Krasian Meritocracy.
