Beasts & Monsters

Beasts are creatures that exist in the world and can never be tamed or trained. They are of higher intelligence or cunning that all Animals, and that is the greatest differentiating factor. Monsters are rarer still. Monsters are Beasts that have been fundamentally changed by the ambient Magic of the Unknown. Beasts are dangerous and nasty creatures but ultimately natural but indefinably wild. Monsters take in magic and become something different from their parent species.
