William Gardson (a.k.a. Wooliam)
Liam, a human farmer, is justifiably proud of the wool that he and Phoebe Gardson product on their farm. He is not only a kind man who cares about his animals and his wife, he is also a shrewd man who knows the value of his fine wool.

Personal history
Liam Gardson grew up knowing he wanted to be the best wool producer in the Squall's End region, if not the world. He has no grand ambitions beyond producing wool of the highest quality, and starting a family with his relatively recent bride, Phoebe. Liam's mother, Sharon lives with he and Phoebe.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Liam has won several competitions for the quality of his wool. He has also organized 3 annual "Farmers Games," a festival for farmers where they compete in activities related to what they do, such as sheep shearing, pounding wheat into flour, and other agricultural activies.
Failures & Embarrassments
Last year, Liam placed second in the sheep shearing contest, which he finds to be embarrassing, even though it didn't hurt how others think of him.
Intellectual Characteristics
Staid, shrewd and curious about the world around him, but not in an adventurous way. He likes to understand the "why" of things, in particular anything that might affect the happiness of his flock or the quality of the wool they produce.
Morality & Philosophy
Liam is a good man who is a follower of Agari and who never hesitates to help a neighbor in need. He is currently stockpiling any extra wool he can in case when the seasons turn, winter turns out to be harsher here than where they were before the Dislocation.

Hygiene
Liam often smells of livestock, no matter how often he or Phoebe wash his clothing. Not an unpleasant smell, but certainly one that marks him as a farmer.
