Zygaria

Zygaria is a harsh desert world comprised of sprawling deserts, rocky mountain ranges and vast mud flats. Greenery is sparse, with it only really existing close to the rocky coastlines and in small oasis throughout the world. Zygaria has a few oceans that shine a dazzling azure colour, reflecting this to the planets sky. it has very little in the way of natural resources, the planet being considered a backwater world by many.
The world is home to the space faring Zygarians, a race of aliens who mostly keep themselves to themselves, but often look to the outer galaxy to purchase extra supplies. living in secluded dome cities, Zygarians are considered to be unlikely to have been native to the world, with their form and biological capabilities suggesting a much colder climate.

On Zygaria there lives a scattered population of humans. it's fairly unclear how they arrived on the world, but it is thought that it was due to the High Teknoh's meddlings in millennia past. The humans on Zygaria has evolved a strange green pigment in their skin which is thought to help protect them against the harsh sun, this pigment manifesting in runic like tattoos across their bodies. Areas where the skin is thin such as the lips and eyes are also coloured green.
Due to Zygaria being in such an unprotected area of space, pirate attacks are extremely common, but often they leave the villagers alone, instead choosing to focus on the traders that ferry goods on and off world. Because of this many ships end up crashing on the worlds surface, many of which are salvaged by the tribes people to build their villagers out of.

Zygaria during the Great Uprising was a key location, it represented the furthest borders of Sirasion space at the time, and due to its proximity to key military bases was a sought after location for both sides. It was well documented how both the Sirasions and Rebellion sat in very grey areas when it came to civilian casualties, with neither side being innocent entirely. it was due to one such incident that the village home to the one who would later become Emperor Zurrok's consort, Tirana, was brought into the fold, her village getting caught in the crossfire of a Sirasion versus Rebel conflict.
