The metal of the Sirasion Empire, this material is used commonly in Sirasion military vehicles as the strongest of armours and deadliest of melee weapons.

Material Characteristics

Protosteel is a silver to light grey alloy comprised from steel and an abundant material called Protonium. It's incredibly strong and has an especially low weight to mass ratio, meaning a blade made of Protosteel is mjch lighter in comparison to how strong the metal is. It is also highly flexible, able to be moulded and shaped into any shape necessary and capable of holding that shape under tremendous pressure.

Physical & Chemical Properties

Protosteel is mostly inert when it is fully refined, one of the material it is made from, Protonium, is highly radioactive, however as the refinement progresses these properties fade quickly. Recently refined Protosteel may still retain some of these radioactive properties for a short time however.

Compounds

Protosteel is formed from two components; regularly refined steel and Protonium. Protonium is a granular substance found on many planets in and around the Tarak Sector. It's radioactive and can be dangerous to mine without the proper training and equipment, there for usually The Sirasion Empire, the primary exporters of Protonium either use automated machinery or purchase it from the Katarn Trade Federation who have their own ways and means to acquire it.

Proto steel has a light silver finish and is smooth to the touch.
