“Oh, stop hiding, will you?” a voice calls from beyond the tree, sweet and smooth, like honey and caramel. Shana takes a few steps away from the strange mansion in the middle of the forest but is stopped by the voice. It must be from the person in front of the house. “Shana and Taylor, come over here.” the voice has changed slightly, becoming more sharp and demanding. Shana can’t help but obey. She steps out from behind the tree and walks towards the house in a daze. She can hear Taylor crunching over leaves behind her. The ground under her feet slowly changes to moss-covered cobblestones, golden grass sprouting from the cracks between the stones. As she gets closer, Shana can make out more details about the mysterious person. Their clothes are made of fine fabrics, so she decided they must be some sort of noble. This belief is further enforced when she glimpses their hands. Each finger has zero to two rings on them. No two rings are the same, either.
“Who… who are you?” Taylor asks hesitantly, stopping a few feet away from the person.
“I thought you would know…” the person looks disappointed. “Honestly, schools these days.”
“Uh… why is your house in the middle of the forest?” Shana asks. The person rolls their eyes.
“Kids these days. A few hundred years ago, there was much more bowing and groveling and ‘oh, please don’t kill us, we’ll do anything’.” they sigh. “Times have changed, that’s for sure.”
“Wait, a few hundred years?” Taylor frowns. “You’re… you’re Thorne?”
“Yes! A hundred points to the blonde one!” Thorne bows. When they straighten up, Shana realizes that she was absolutely blind. The person in front of her had on Thorne’s signature pale gold crown that looked like it was made of twigs from the trees around her. Their face was thin and sharp, almost like a skull. No one else had that kind of face but Thorne.
“Are you going to kill us?” Shana whispers, her voice shaky and weak. She hates herself for that, but there’s nothing she can do about it now. There’s an actual god not more than five feet away from her. And she’s a sacrifice.
“Nah. Not right now.” Thorne shrugs. “It depends on who you are.” they turn on their heel and walk to the doors of the mansion, which swing open automatically.

Thorne is very fit, even though they really don't work out. They have a rectangular body shape and are lean. They don't have any sort of illnesses or such.

They, first and foremost, want to expose humanity for the terrible thing it is and show all the things wrong with it. They, very close to first, want to have fun with humanity and stir up a little chaos. They, actually first and foremost, want to take control of the palace of the gods, where the other, more important gods live. They feel like the other gods aren't doing what the need to do in order to keep the world good. They also want to make sure that Nerium never escapes, because she's evil in Thorne's mind.
