Vasselheim

Known as the "Cradle of Faith"
Most notable city in Othanzia, and seemingly all of Issylra.

Known for it's wide variety and density of religions and religious sects
Generally hostile to strictly arcane magic
Surrounded by wilderness that sports mega-fauna
Very martial culture

The location that Vox Machina stored the Horn of Orcus
Allura Vysoren mentioned that Vass has been the start of every historical "Cycle", potentially related to the Second Spark, and that the dragons would be foolish to attack it (even Thordak)

There are Orc Tribes to the north northwest
Bandit tribes from the far west (possibly from across the sea)

General Layout

Heavy Orchard in the "Abundant Terrace"
All of the plant life is vibrant and springtime green despite the winter-like cold

Quad roads
Central road network that splits the four main portions of Vasselheim. Erathis is based in the center of town.
Quad roads is also where the slayer's take is

Very northern part of the town is a mountain, "Heaven's Stair".
Attached is the "Silver Talon's Reach", the main temple to Bahamut.
Highbearer Vord, the silver-touched, is the high-priest of Bahamut at this temple.

To the left (of the mountain) is the "braving ground",
This is the area that is geared toward Kord , the god of war, where Earthbreaker Groon (also known as the dawnmaster), runs his temple.
Duskmeadow, Raven Queen's domain
  Amaranthine Oubliette is in duskmeadow,
prison of the city

Possible that a river runs through Vasselhiem. Not sure of the exact geography, but it potentially separates the duskmeadow and the melora section of town.
Might have also been a metaphor, not a literal river XD unclear

There was a scourge of undeath after a battle several hundred years ago. Now there is a seal / protective barrier which seals in any undeath, but also prevents vegetation from growing.
interesting bit of historical knowledge... big possibility that the undeath part is the quirk and the preventing vegetation was the point, but that got retconned by modern authorities trying to whitewash history? Maybe a historic internment camp of some kind?
Also super possible that this is related to the conflict between Ioun and Tharizdun!

Raven's Crest, according to Pike's knowledge, is not an "unwelcome place".

The library here is kind of a loose partnership between the people worshipers of her and those who follow Ioun. It is a center for knowledge and history kept within the city.
Just sayin, control over the library and knowledge would make it reeeeaaaaal easy for someone to wipe knowledge of of a certain death god from history after the Raven Queen ascended. And now Raven Queen and Ioun are buddies? Hmmmm... seems like Ioun and Tharizdun got in to a fight, and after Ioun won and sealed away the old death god she elevated her buddy to become the new death god.
