The Second War

This term seems to be sometimes distinct, and sometimes interchangeable, with the Divergence. I am separating them here just in case, but it is unclear how separated the literal events were.
At the moment, it SEEMS that "The Second War" refers to the whole conflict, while the Divergence and Penance refer to specific events towards the end of that conflict.
From what we can tell, The Second War appears to be a civil war of sorts between the gods of the old pantheon. The two sides have been referred to as the "Divine gods" and the "Dark gods".
