Viafir, the Scourge

The Underworld's former ruler and self-imposed peacekeeper.

Overview

The Underworld's first (and to date only) central ruling figure, Viafir was a cryptic being, whispered about in hushed tones throughout the Underworld as a kind of mythical figure. Most mortals who lived during his rule are gone, and due to his complicated history, many Archons have forbidden mentioning him, snarling at his name alone. Many historical events have been correllated to him, and his mark on the Underworld has both healed and scarred it.

Appearance

A towering Archon, who stood at nearly double the height of an average one, Viafir was covered in ornate gold and black armor, dotted with blues and reds. Small decorative spikes and gemstones adorned the armor around the upper body. His shoulder pauldrons were abstruse, jagged claw-like shapes that curved upwards, and his helmet was simple, with four burning red eyes. He had a long red sash around his waist, and his legs were rarely visible, his lower body mostly obscured by wispy shadows. He was also never seen without his esoteric weapon, Planesbane.
