Ingress #14

Nestled in a ravine, this collapsed Ingress is one of a handful still active. Frequent incursions from the Overworld occur here, which has caused the nearby town of Typro to militarize defensively.   Ingress #14, like its bretheren, is a schism in reality that allows travel to the Overworld and vice-versa. It stands nearly a mile-tall, the ground around the base of it weathered to stone with age. The edges of it look like they were seared with eldritch lightning, leaving their mark upon the rock around it. When active, the inside pulses with a magenta-hued energy sparking with wisps of cyan flying out. Entities that enter or exit it vanish in a flash of blue-white light. When inactive, however, the end of the ravine is just a scarred rock face stretching into the sky as the edge of the Outlands includes it and wraps upwards.   South of it on the ravine's edge lies Garm Observatory, an ancient research facility and observation station tasked with keeping watch and analyzing Ingress #14 and its passengers.
