Sitting ominously atop a cliff near the Outlands, this ancient facility holds many dark secrets, waiting to be unearthed by those brave enough to face its defenses.
An ancient research station/military base from the time of Viafir, Garm Observatory oversaw Ingress #14, which was unordinarily large compared to other Ingresses and situated in the crevasse below.
The Observatory is still heavily guarded by automatons even to this day, which has limited exploration and investigation for decades.
Within its vast corridors lie forgotten proof of dark experiments. Remains of long-dead Overworlders float in decrepit preserving tanks and research of the Ingress sits on rotting shelves. Old automatons and esoteric biomechanical systems have sat unused and unremembered by all, except for its caretaker, an AI named Siddhartha.
Deeper still lied an Oversoul, a massive construct that was designed as a last resort were something to happen to the Observatory, the Ingress, or the malevolent force far below. But now that the Oversoul is vanquished, and the automatons dispatched, the Observatory and its secrets are now open for anyone to exploit.
