Mistress Jade Nguyen (a.k.a. Cheshire)
Jade Nguyen, known by the alias Cheshire, was an active assassin and mercenary based out of China during the 1970s and used a wide variety of poisons.
Born in 1951 to a French father and a Vietnamese mother, she had an unhappy childhood was sold into slavery at an early age. The trauma from that time ultimately paved the way into becoming one of the world's most ruthless mercenaries. At age 10, she killed her slave master and was adopted by former Chinese freedom fighter Weng Chan, who taught her all he knew about guerrilla fighting.
In her later life, she often came into conflict with the Titans but would not directly hold a grudge against them. The Titans would primarily fight with her daughter Lia who was far more combative.

After freeing herself from slavery at age 10, Jade was informally adopted by former Chinese freedom fighter Weng Chan who taugh her all he knew about guerrilla fighting.
She also received tutelage from a famed assassin known as "Spitting Cobra" who gave her knowledge of all kinds of poisons.

For most of her early years, Jade lived as a highly trained assassin and mercenary.
In her later life, despite still being physically capable, she retired from being an assassin and took up a leadership position, getting others to do her bidding and only ocassionally getting her hands dirty.
