The Seige of Nova Aera

An attack orchestrated by a group of socialistic adventurers who managed to gather the last remnants of the ancient cyclops empire to attack the giant city.

The orchestration

A group of four well known and famed adventurers became fed up with the ruling upper class taking advantage of the many powerful adventurers of Nova Aera. They leave the city and begin their mission of gathering an army. Obsessed with legends of the ancient cyclops empire that once ruled the area they begin gathering all cyclopses in the area and beyond. By filling their heads with thoughts of retaking what they lost and returning to the glory they manage to build an army. The cyclopses that agree begin to gather their allies until the army reaches over a million strong. Among them was a giant cyclops. A hulking monstrosity that could level the walls and breach the gates of the city. Together with the adventurers, the endless army marched on the cities.  

The Seige

The initial plan was to have the giant breach the southern gates, while a smaller force entered the city through the underground tunnels. Then the cities meager defenses would be overwhelmed by the cyclopes sheer numbers. The plan was foiled, however. First when the underground tunnels were forcefully collapsed to prevent the armies entry. The giant was then slain by a lone hero who ran out to meet the beast in the open field and managed to slay it. The sight of this heroic deed demoralized the army that then called for a retreat. Finally, the siege was lifted after the adventurers who commanded the army were slain by a group of heroes who had snuck behind enemy lines through the jungles.
