The Master of the Bladed Pouch
The enigmatic master of the Bladed Pouch is a dangerous individual with ties to the Raven Queen. Turns out she is a powerful Shadar-Kai Soul Monger serving the Raven Queen to sow discord & sorrow in the Material Plane.

Personal history
The Master is a relatively unknown character. Powerful and imbued with opwers of her mistress, the Raven Queen. Thought to have been born a few centuries prior to taking this position, she appears to be trained to cause disruption & chaos in societies beyond the Shadowfell. Anything besides this is purely conjecture.
At first glance the Master appears to be trained in the use of Shadow Gloom powers, and having picked up a few other skills to prepare her for the goals of leading sinsiter organisations. This seemed to lead her to try to corrupt the Thieves of Frankia, and a few other related organisations. By doing so, the Frankish Empire would have been hit hard by rising crime rates, and by using dark magic, created even more horrors to terrorise the populace. Also, by recruiting members to the Bladed Pouch from many surrounding nations & peoples woud help lead to unnecessary wars.
What drives her to do this is misunderstood at best. The reasoning of scholars seem to point to the needs of the Raven Queen and the Shadowfell where she resides. As a place that is a dark reflection of the Material Plane, darkness & sorrow abound in such a wretched place. As a sidenote, the walls between demiplanes crawling in dread, and as a nightmare plane, any of these that happen in the Material Plane is reflected here stronger & more potent. The energy from these emotions could very well be tapped by the Raven Queen and her servants to work stronger magics, and by affecting the Material Planes, open portals directly between the two.
The Master is such an expert at creating sorrow, tearing young away from their parents & elders, and using psychic magic to manipulate them. Sometimes the seeds are sown long ago in these victims awaiting the command to activate. One key component is using the Primordial magic of the universe to do this, and surprise victims when they don't compy they are then torn apart by the very elements that make them up.
Collecting a few items & sdpells in her career she quickly learned some rogue skills to back up her own skills, allowed her to infiltrate the Thieves of Frankia. From there she worked her way up to the top and tried to change the substance of the guild. The Master tried to introduce the use of dark magic to both them and the local Assassins Guild, and tried to get them to worship a number of evil deities hoping to corrupt them. In both cases the majority rebelled recognizing the dangers in this nooting her out with the few that decided to follow her. This created the schizm between the two sides. So far she has used her skills to start a number of shadow wars & clashes between the two. During the past 200 odd years this has turned the Frankish Nobility to crack down on both sides. The Thieves & Assassins had to work closer with the highest ranking nobility & carry out more jobs for them, and keep the Bladed Pouch in check. This causes them to waste more time & resources covering up some of their jobs, and the nobility to waste more time & resources keeping a check on everything.
