Burning Children are 4 to 5 ft tall bipeds with no hair, a constant smell of burning flesh hanging round them, wide pain filled eyes, and the appearance of being burned from the inside out as if internally on fire. They give of small gouts of flame, sparks, and smoke. There are small rents in their flesh were fire can be seen on in, and they regularly let out shrieks of torment especially when excited. Also, their skin looks oily, dirty and with soot around any rents. Known to attack in numbers, and not overly powerful on their own, they can appear & sound highly disturbing when in numbers. The sound they make can attract other Star Spawn to them. Each burning child seems to get worked up and automatically tries to maul or grab at any adult within range. Some scholars believe they are children sacrificed by fire to the Star Gods and they act either to punish any adult for not helping them, or trying to get adults to put them out of their misery. They can be quite fast when moving, especially when chasing adults, and will let out a scream when close to a victim.
