Racial Layout Per Region

Some time ago a scholar had came out with a set of figures trying to tie in each major region with the types of humanoids living in the known world. Though not entirely correct by any means, it does help any person who may need to know this to check these groupings. Many of the groups that are found in these regions aren't necessarily hated, though a few are kept at arms length or driven off. A classic example are the Yuan-Ti and Rakshasa who are seen by many as evil through & through. Others like the Tabaxi are welcomes throughout, while the Dragonborn are hated in Europe due to their connections to dragons of old, in the Far East, they are seen as having divine blood in them.   Humans seem to make up 75% of all sentient species throughout the known kingdoms and regions noted. The only difference is the Underdark as different races prefer to live there. Sometimes a specific area in a region will have 100% human populations, and rarely, there will be 100% of one of the others mentioned below. Following are rough percentages of non-humans:   Europe; Dwarves, Elves, Half-Elves, Gnomes, and Halflings make up roughly 20% to 24% of all non-humans. The remaining 1% to 5% would be Half-Orcs, Goliaths, Firbolgs, Kenku, Half-Ogres.   Middle-East & North Africa; Aasimar, Tabaxi, Yuan-Ti (especially Purebloods), and Djinn make up roughly 20% to 24% of all non-humans. The remaining 1% to 5% would be Thri Kreen, Jackalweres, Kenku, Hobgoblins.   Central & Southern Africa; Tabaxi, Yuan-Ti, and Lizard Folk make up roughly 20% to 24% of all non-humans. The remaining 1% to 5% would be Djinn.   Indian Subcontinent; Lizard Folk, Yuan-Ti, and Kenku make up roughly 20% to 24% of all non-humans. The remaining 1% to 5% would be Tabaxi, Djinn, Rakshasa, Hobgoblins, Naga, Dragonborn.   Far East; Kenku, Yuan-Ti, Dragonborn, Hobgoblins, and Lizard Folk make up roughly 20% to 24% of all non-humans. The remaining 1% to 5% would be Rakshasa, Tabaxi, Naga.   Underdark; Dwarves, Black Elves, Duergar, and Gnomes make up at least 50% to 75% in the Underdark. The rest is a mix of others, mainly the following: Troglodytes, Mind Flayers, Orcs, Goblins, and Kobolds.
