Wail of the Sea. The morgen will issue a call for help that can attract a person to try to help them. This causes a person to make a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw, to avoid being drawn in. If failed, the person acts as if they are charmed, and immediately moves as fast as they can directly to the morgen to attack. If successful, the person is fine, and cannot be charmed by a morgen for 24 hours.   Fey Ancestry. Because the morgen has been touched by the Dark Fey, she has resistance to being charmed, and cannot magically be put to sleep.

Actions

Grab. Melee Weapon Attack +6 to hit, reach 5 ft, one target. If the morgen is successful she grapples the target and holds on, then tries to dive down into the sea with her victim. They are treated as grappled, and starts taking drowning damage from the morgen's next turn. A DC 15 Strength check is needed to break free of this.

Morgens are water based spirits that look to drown men in the sea. They are found extensively around the coasts of Brittany, Cornwall, and Wales. Morgans, Mari-Morgans, or Morivoren. The latter is Cornish in origin and all seem to mean 'Water Born', or 'Water Spirit'. They are Fey creatures tied to the Dark Fey, and in many cases they are the spirits of women who are drowning and call out for help with their last breath. Sometimes a Dark Fey will hear them and bring them back to life as a Morgen, and with the cruelty to punish others for not helping a drowning woman. Each one appears as a pale woman with tattered clothing, and seaweed mixed into her hair, and both of these drifting in the ocean currents. She will put her head out of the water and cry for help to draw a victim to her. From there she will reach up and grab the person to drag them below th sea to claim their life.

Suggested Environments
