Medicine Man

The medicine men and medicine women are traditional healers and spiritual healers found in the indigenous American Indian tribes, especially in the central and northern Americas. The term 'ceremonial people' is sometimes used as well. The closest version known to many is the shamans of some European & Asian tribes and groups.
