Actions

Thunderous Touch. Melee Weapon Attack +5 to hit, reach 5 ft, one target. Hit 27 5d10 thunder damage.   Voice of the Kraken (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). A kraken speaks through the priest with a thunderous voice audible within 300 feet. Creatures of the priest's choice that can hear the kraken's words (which are spoken in Abyssal, Infernal, or Primordial) must succeed on a DC 14 Charisma saving throw, or be frightened for 1 minute. A frightened target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of it's turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Kraken priests are humanoids who have fallen under the spell of a kraken. They have seen the power of such a creature and now worship it as nothing short of a god. The kraken is only too happy to have such a priest, bestowing powers onto the creature to attract more followers to a now burgeoning cult.   Both are linked psychically, and the kraken can subsume control of the priest as and when necessary to speak to it's followers. Also, it can gather information through the senses of the priest to get a general impression of certain areas it itself cannot go, or interact with.   Each kraken priest mutates in some way. Some will have black eyes, others tentacles around their mouths or in place of arms, others have a beak in place of a mouth, or others the blubbery slimy skin of a kraken. Quite a few can also release inky fluid in water or the air to allow it to escape, or breathe air and water.
