Heavy Elvish Archers

Heavy Elvish archers are an infantry unit found in both High Elf and Dark Elf armies. They will also fight as mercenaries or in allied armies if the pay or conditions are right. The main difference for both is that High Elves fight with long bows, and Dark Elves with heavy crossbows. Both generally wear ornate metal helmets, and chainmail, and armed with short swords and shields which are used if the enemy get too close. They usually fight from one side of an army to close down an area of the battlefield, or from behind the main army to soften up enemy units before the main push of their own troops.
