They are a mottled stone coloured predators, who roam a region attacking & eating any other animal they can. They prefer to hide in cracks & crevices and beside well worn paths and surprise their prey. Each has four tentacles at the their front end, covering a beak-like maw that bites with quite a bit of force. If there is a lack of prey in an area the gricks are not above travelling to the surface to hunt for prey. Sometimes they follow a larger more powerful version called a Grick Alpha.
