Fuken

Fuken is a small village on the Germanic side of the mountains making the northern side of Switzerland. It is largely a farming community and acts as a local market if the farmers can't make it to larger settlements. It contains approximately 7 families totalling roughly 50 people of differing ages. They help support the local farmers and also the Braunale monastery. It is a quiet village, though it has seen better days, especially after the odd disappearance of young adults over the past 10 years. In many cases there seems to be suicides in the odd instance where the person could not live missing the family member. Recently it is a number of towns and villages to have came under Frankish control due to the ongoing Saxon War. They don't seem to mind as they are generally left alone most of the time except to pay taxes as appropriate.
