Farmers

Farmers at this time grows crops, and/or livestock. All tare usually small holdings providing for the family involved, and enough excess for the family to sell off at market what is not of use to them. There is change coming in the next 200 years when many of these become parts of manors owned by nobility. 
In most cases, the farmers help each other and help to feed the larger towns & cities. They can act as military levies when not needing to tend to their fields. Usually this involves leaving other family members to look after their holdings.
