Description
Dwarven Hammer Guard are units in many warbands, militaries and mercenary bands. They make up a core of heavily armoured and armed fighters who operate in the central & front ranks of the armies they fight in. Clad in heavy armour, carrying shields and war hammers they enter combat while other troops protect their flanks and cause catastrophic damage while absorbing the worse of attacks back. They are generally classed as an elite fighting unit.

Suggested Environments
Any battlefield, usually fighting for a Germanic peoples, or part of a Dwarven horde.
Advantage on saves against poison saves. Indomitable. The warrior can reroll a saving throw after one is failed. This cannot be done further until after a long rest. Great Weapon Fighting. If the user of a two handed weapon rolls a 1 or 2 during melee, while using a weapon with two hands, this can be rerolled. The second roll stands even if a 1 or 2 is rolled. The weapon must have the two-handed or versatile property to gain this benefit.
Actions
Multiattack: The warrior gets two melee attacks in place of one. Warhammer: Melee Weapon Attack +4, 5 ft range, one target. Hit 7 1d8+3 bludgeoning damage one handed, or Hit 8 (1d10 + 3) bludgeoning damage if used two-handed. Hand axe: Melee Weapon Attack +4, 5 ft range, one target. Hit 6 1d6+3 slashing damage. Thrown Weapon Attack +4, 20/60 ft range, one target, Hit 6 1d6+3 slashing damage.
