Central Heating through Underfloor Channels

This is being introduced into Alpine uplands, where it can be cold a good part of a year. Highly efficient, it is based on the old Roman Hypocaust method, with a set of small channels below the floor is filled with warm water over a period of time to warm the building. This is usually found in buildings belonging to organisations & individuals of importance.
